Pallet loading guidelines for when we're collecting, loading and transporting your pallets

For safe handling and efficiency in transport, pallets need to be properly loaded and secured so they arrive complete and undamaged. We can come prepared with appropriate equipment to load/unload the pallets, or wait while its loaded.

If you require support with loading and prepping your pallet as below, we can help you with this on site. Pallets must;

• Have four-way access capability (for pump truck/fork lift)
• Be in good, solid, unbroken condition
• Not be overloaded (refer to table above for guidance)
• Not have any overhang. Boxes/loads/goods must fit perfectly on the pallet
• Be fully ready before our arrival to collect
• Have weight evenly distributed to prevent tipping during transit
• Have heavier items placed at the bottom, with lighter items on top
• Have items arranged securely to minimise movement during transportation
• Be fully, and tautly, shrink wrapped, with sharp corners padded
• Each be clearly labelled externally and internally with the information below

1. Recipients name and/or business name
2. Full address with postcode
3. Contact mobile number
4. Description of goods / packing list
5. Internally (Positioned so that it won't be confused with recipients details) - return name and address
